ANNUAL LETTER WRITING DAY SUNDAY MAY 20 1:00 to 3:00
"LETTERS ARE THE NEW E-MAILS"

Join children’s book author and illustrator Jennifer Morris as she demonstrates her work, reads from her books and helps children and adults create their own stationery and envelopes to send to friends. (The Museum pays the postage.)  Bring your friends' addresses. Also decorate mailboxes with stamps to take home. Take a virtual tour of Ms. Morris' studio. Refreshments.  Free stamps for the children.

REMEMBER THAT JUNE IS GRANDPARENTS MONTH AT THE MUSEUM

Grandparents, both collectors and non-collectors, are encouraged to bring their grandchildren and help them learn about the fun and educational value of stamp collecting. Free collecting starter kits for the children.

Do you have a stamp collection collecting dust in your closet?  Did a relative give you their stamp collection and you have no idea of its value.? The Museum offers professional evaluations on the weekends for a nominal fee.  Call the Museum for more information and to schedule an appointment.

The Spellman Museum engages diverse audiences of all ages in the opportunities to learn from stamps and postal history. It welcomes stamp collectors and philatelic students from around the world. Enjoy our website and plan a visit!

We are located on the campus of Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts USA, 30 minutes from downtown Boston near the intersection of I-90 (Mass Pike) and I-95 (Route 128).

Children are welcome to search our two-cent boxes of United States and worldwide stamps to help them get started on their own stamp collection.  All our gallery exhibits have special stamp hunts for children to do and to win  stamp prizes. 

 Every child who visits the Museum takes home a free packet of stamps and tips about how to start a collection.

Don't like waiting in long lines at the post office to buy your first class stamps?
The Museum is also an official US post office and sells all current US Stamps.  Stamps are sold during regular Museum hours (even on Sundays).  Note, however, the Museum cannot mail packages or do registered mail
