Directed activities available by reservation, (781) 768-7343; varying fees.

This program is supported, in part, by the Weston Cultural Council, a local agency of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency that supports public programs in the arts, humanities, and sciences, and the Northeastern Federation of Stamp Clubs.

  • Boy Scout Merit Badge Program provides opportunity for all scouts in a troop to meet the requirements with one four-hour session at the museum plus an additional four hours before or after the museum visit.
  • Girl Scout Patch Program for Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, and Seniors use stamps to learn about US and world history, geography, and culture and the contributions of notable United States women.

Girl Scouts

Boy Scout Program:

From Troop 54 in Worchester, MA:

"We all felt that the program and museum is a gem! It is very hard to keep the attention of young boys and you did a fantastic job. They were attentive and enjoyed the activities. Thank you"

From Troop 1 in Wayland, MA:

"Excellent program in every aspect: well organized; kept the boys interested and engaged; all materials were available. I would highly recommend this program to other Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups!"

Badge

Girl Scout Program:

From Troop 3011 in Newton, MA:

"The girls had a wonderful experience! And they were eager to get home to soak their purchased stamps and continue their work on their collection."

From Troop 3069 in Weston, MA:

"Interactive programs like these are wonderful introductions to a hobby-the girls were absolutely involved with all the activities. Scavenger hunt great-particularly for 10-11 year olds. Collection and way to handle stamps that were given out during hands-on activity was also very good and interesting. Many thanks from all of Troop 3069."
